VISTA Park with a view

7 Step along the easy slope that rises above Vista Park’s event stage, and your view of the world around Lake Velenje will change. Every day of the year, you can enjoy the views from Vista Park’s high platform, which is also accessible to the disabled. The park platform is open to the public for free. On the roof of the event stage The extraordinary design of the Vista viewing platform provides an unusual experience, as you climb the walking roof of a large stage. It rises up to 14 meters in height and is easily accessible via a gentle slope that is accessible to all visitors. A breath-taking view of the lake from afar The Vista platform provides stunning views of Velenje Lake and its surroundings. Kinta Kunte, an interesting garden settlement, can be seen to the east. The surrounding hills (Lubela, Vodemlja, Razborje) and Uršlja gora can be seen to the north, with Peca in the background. Smrekovec and Golte can be seen to the west, and the town of Šoštanj can be seen in the valley. The valley is enclosed on the south side by the surrounding hills, below which is Pesje, and in the immediate vicinity is the Jezero recreation centre. The town of Velenje is on the south-east side, and the view opens onto the Paški Kozjak .
